Language Teaching Center To all incoming freshmen and undergraduates: Welcome! The Language Teaching Center will welcome the JHU class of 2013 by hosting an Open House on Monday, August 31 during Freshmen Orientation.
Come for lunch Date: Monday, August 31, 2009 Time: 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Location: Language Laboratory, 506 Krieger Hall ************* On behalf of the Language Teaching Center, its faculty and staff, I welcome you to Johns Hopkins University and wish you the best of luck in your college career. We invite you to visit our Language Lab (located on the fifth floor of Krieger Hall) during Orientation on Monday, August 31, 2009 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. and explore the possibilities of learning new languages. Representatives from languages such as Arabic, Persian (Farsi), Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Sanskrit, and Swahili will be available to answer your questions or concerns, and to offer any assistance or guidance that might be helpful to you. You may take this opportunity to take a language placement test as well. The Language Teaching Center benefits from the tradition of small classes and the personal attention of the professors who are recognized for their outstanding teaching. The Language Lab is known for its state-of-the-art technology and efficient staff. For more information about the lab and our Center, please browse our website at www.ltc.jhu.edu.
